The comms program is where any communications to other systems or devices should be handled. Below shows the way any local or remote IO should be monitored for faults. From here, device logic (like LS2) should be faulted using the bit RIO1_01_CommError bit (for example) if the IO for LS2 is wired to RIO1_01 (see Equipment Modules (EM01, EM02...) ).
